Habitat: Pine-oak woodland.
Associated Species: Pinus, Quercus, Cupressus, Fraxinus, Prunus, Alnus oblongifolia, Toxicodendron radicans, Gibasis linearis subsp. rhodantha, Samolus vagans.
Description: Tree, 5 m; leaves alternate, base asymmetrical, margins toothed; flowers cream-tan, in pendent clusters with paddle-shaped bract. Three trees seen.
Notes: Duplicates to ARIZ, ASU, TEX, USON.
