Habitat: Sonoran Desert. Unconsolidated alluvium in braided wash flowing through chalk bluffs.
Associated Species: Larrea tridentata, Olneya tesota, Parkinsonia, Ambrosia dumosa, Krameria, Hilaria rigida.
Description: Ray petals bright yellow.
Notes: Uncommon, scattered throughout braided wash and side slopes.
