Substrate: Limestone over gravelly substrate.

Description: Uncommon, plant 11 cm high x 5 cm wide, ribs 11, apical central spines (reddish-) black, upcurved, flowers (4 pm) 115 mm long x 55 mm wide (closed), hypanthium 40 l x25 w mm, dark green, 90 x 50 mm (closed), outer perianth light rose-cream margins with moderately broad magenta-brownish midstripe, inner tepals rose-pink, darker midstripe, filaments light chartreuse, anthers yellow, style very light chartreuse-white, stigma lobes dark green.
