Slope mostly covered with willows with openings between.
Small plant with basal rosette of glabrous, petiolate-spatulate leaves. Several broadly cordate-auriculate, sessile, cauline leaves. Fruits somewhat inflated, elliptic (not obovate-cuneate as described in keys) with 1-2 seeds/locule. Style ~1.5mm.
