Habitat: Talus on SE-facing slopes, decomposed granite or similar; creosote bush scrub with Larrea, Encelia farinosa, etc.
Notes: Fairly common perennial in washes at foot of lowest ridge of site; fls. purple. Prostrate. Presumably persisting from rains last fall -- assoc. with Amaranthus fimbriatus and Boerhavia wrightii skeletons.
