Associated Species: Prosopis glandulosa, Parkinsonia, Encelia farinosa, Sphaeralcea, Pseudorontium cyathiferum, Elytraria imbricata, Perityle californica, Sida abutifolia.
Notes: Perennial forb, 4 cm; leaves dark green, shiny above, reddish on margins; bracts white, flowers yellow.
