Habitat: Wide sandy wash with desert wash scrub of Chilopsis, Prosopis (few), Parkinsonia, Atriplex polycarpa, etc. Sandy side canyons cut into older alluvium.
Notes: Locally common annual on S-facing slope in side canyon; fls. pink.
