Locality: United States, Arizona, Gila, 7.5Õ Aztec Peak quad. Sierra Ancha Mountains; along NAtional Forest rpad 140 W of Globe-Young AZ highway 288, east of Parker Creek, and north of Roosevelt L. & dam. Paleozoic Dripping Springs quartzite.
Elevation: 1423 meters Verbatim Elevation: 4670 ft.
Habitat: Interface between semi-desert grassland and AZ upland. Near edge of massive cliff system in duff under junipers and in open meadows. Subdivision of Sonoran dessertscrub with scattered Pinus edulis, Juniperus monosperma, Dasylirion wheeleri, Agave chrysantha, A. toumeyana var. bella.
Associated Species: Phacelia distans, Plagiobothrys arizonica, Descurainia obtusa ssp. brevisiliqua, Lupinus shockley.
