Habitat: Limestone ledges near bottom of small dry canyon.
Substrate: Verde Formation, calcareous granular soil and large boulders.
Description: Small group of perennial plants to 1m, whitish flowers turning rusty red. Last year's dead branchlets still intact, current branchlets green with no apparent leaves.
