Deciduous large shrub, multistemmed from base, ascending branches; bark smooth, gray; 11 ft. tall; lvs. dark green above with impressed veins, light colored veins, lighter beneath; bracts milk white, terminal on the branches. University of Georgia (north campus), Athens.
