Locality: United States, California, East San Bernadino, United States: California: East San Bernadino County. E. Mojave Desert, Clark Mtn. Range: limestone cliffs at head of NE-trending Forsellesia Cyn, c. 1 mi. S of Frank Curtis' mine (Juniper Claims). Elev. c. 6500 ft. Pinyon-fir forest on rocky, LS slopes. Assoc. spp: Pinus monophylla, Abies concolor concolor, Acer glabrum diffusum, Fraxinus anomala, Amelanchier utahensis covillei, Ribes cereum, etc. Shrub c. 1/2 to 1 m tall.
