Description:
Occasional, local, single, leaves light green tinged with maroon-rose, drying tan, flower stalk ca 6-2/3 m tall, inflorescence broadly paniculate, lateral branches 21, perpendicular (to ascending) to stalk, down 2/3 of stalk, ovary, neck, tube light chartreuse, outer tepal lobes light chartreuse with maroon flush, inner tepal lobes light chartreuse, filaments, style chartreuse flushed with dark maroon-purple, light chartreuse basally, anthers dark maroon-purple/light yellow, stigma light yellow, tepals clasping, ovary somewhat ridged; flowers thick, brittle; flower measurements after Gentry (1982) in mm, pre-, early anthesis: tl=55, o=26x9, n=4, tu=14hx12w, fil ins=6.5, 7.5, fil=45, a=15, outer tepal lobe 12x6.5(base), 5(mid), inner tepal lobe 10.2x5(base), 5(mid), sty=39; tl=54, o=27x9.5, n=3, tu=13hx13w, fil ins=6.3, fil=42, a=15, outer tepal lobe 12x6.5(base), 6(mid), inner tepal lobe 11.5x6.25(base), 5(mid), sty=41.
