Habitat: Large fen with high quality portions on eastern edge. Beautiful large Larix laricina trees shelter very diverse ribbons of fen. Large west portion is dominated by weedy species including Agrostis gigantea. Phalaris arundinacea dominates the fen/woodland interfaces. Bordered on north by creek and on south by woodland upland. Western portion of prairie fen; about 20m east of Populus tremuloides grove; immediately to the west of 10m snag and medium-large Toxicodendron vernix shrub. Eutrochium maculatum, Agrostis gigantea are very common many dead shrubs; many sapling recruits as well.
