Elevation: 277 meters (909ft)
Habitat: Lake side prairie fen. Mostly Cyperaceae, Cornus, and button bush dominated marl zone with some Asteraceae and Dasiphora fruticosa near the wooded borders. Invaded by Phragmites, Phalaris arundinacea, and Frangula alnus. In large northern section of fen, 10m east of Little Portage Lake, 400m west of Greenway house. Area dominated by Cyperaceae, Spiraea alba, Lythrum salicaria, and Cornus with Lysimachia thyrsiflora. Ground level and moist to wet.
Description: Population - Rare in area, no large clumps seen. Flowers in stalk still.
