Habitat: Inundated and dominated by Typha latifolia and Carex stricta. Located at west end of fen, area is farily diverse, but appears stressed. Dasiphora fruticosa present but dying. Mentha canadensis and Verbena hastata very common. High quality prairie fen pocket surround by wooded fen (Toxicodendron vernix/Larix laricina and Frangula alnus thicket). Quality pocket has abundant Pycnanthemum virginicum with Solidago altissima, Eutrochium maculatum, Thelypteris palustris, and Eupatorium perfoliatum. Ground moist. Dense Typha stand about 20m to the south.
