Large north-south fen; multiple ownser; many arms; large expanses of Carex stricta. Fen elongated and amoeboid with many small armas and large amounts of edge. Oak uplands often inserted intro prairie fen as peninsulas. Oftern large amounts of open water due to beaver flooding. Asjacent to railroad that runs the entire length of the fen. Weedy area with Toxicodendron vernix and Larix laricina close by. Ground dominated by Impatiens capensis, Monardo fistulosa, Boehmeria cylindica, and Ranunculus hispidus. Alliaria petiolata present in area. Ground very soft and mucky. Tree canopy includes Prunus sp. and Acer rubrum.
