Large north-south fen; multiple ownser; many arms; large expanses of Carex stricta. Fen elongated and amoeboid with many small armas and large amounts of edge. Oak uplands often inserted intro prairie fen as peninsulas. Oftern large amounts of open water due to beaver flooding. Asjacent to railroad that runs the entire length of the fen. Sedge meadow in southern area of Buckhorn Lake Fen. North of Munger Road. Most common species include Eleocharis rostellata, Dasiphora fruticosa, Thelypteris palustris, Solidago patula, and Carex lasiocarpa. About 7m south of shrub encroachment. Soil moist. About 15m north of Lake O'Brien.
