Large north-south fen; multiple ownser; many arms; large expanses of Carex stricta. Fen elongated and amoeboid with many small armas and large amounts of edge. Oak uplands often inserted intro prairie fen as peninsulas. Oftern large amounts of open water due to beaver flooding. Asjacent to railroad that runs the entire length of the fen. Carex stricta dominated area with many dead shrubs. Located about 10-15m east of creek. Small Cornus foemina persisting. Other species include Thelypteris palustris, Galium asprellum, Eutrochium maculatum, and Galium boreale. Ground moist and hummocky.
