Elevation: 259 meters (850ft)
Habitat: Prairie fen dominated by Carex, Asteraceae, and grasses but encroachment by shrubs (Rubus, Cornus, Betula, Toxicodendron vernix). A few pockets and walls of shrub-carr and wooded fen. Evidence of some management. Hummocky in areas from Carex stricta, other areas dominated by other Carex and Dasiphora fruticosa. In Carex, Asteraceae, Dasiphora fruticosa, and Thelypteris palustris meadow with shrub pockets. Shrubs: Betula, Salix, Toxicodendron vernix, and Cornus. Ground tussocky and wet, 70m north of southern border, 150m west of dead oak. Open water under shrubs.
Description: Population - Small plant growing from hummock edge up Carex. Associated with Carex, Campanula aparinoides. Near standing water.
