Habitat: Alpine fellfield with relatively well developed tundra. Associates include Erigeron pinnatisectus, Androsace chamaejasme ssp. carinata, Erysimum capitatum, Polemonium confertum, Potentilla uniflora, Rhodiola integrifolia, Mertensia lanceolata. Common & widespread. Lower member of Sangre de Cristo Form. (red arkose sandstone, conglomerate ss. siltstone & shale).
Reproductive Condition: Flr
Notes: Taprooted, multistemmed cushions. Corolla white. 7.5' Electric Peak quad.
