Plants growing in gravelly soil along road to plant and adjacent pasture area. Growing with Helianthus, Xanthium & various grasses. Common but scattered.
0.75-1.5 ft. tall. Many plants witth one main stem that branches above the middle, others 2-many stems from the base. Biennial or weakly perennial, some with new rosettes on flowering stems.
