Carex haydeniana Olney, det. F.J. Hermann, 1962. Original ID as Carex macloviana d'Urville. Note by Hermann reads, "In C. macloviana the pergynia are concave-convex rather than flattened; they are also smaller & relatively stout-beaked. The copper-colored scales & perig. have unmistakenly reddish hue."
