On benches & steps of glacial debris in pine duff of open Pinus contorta - Picea engelmannii forest; sparse understory includes Astragalus miser, Oreochrysum parryi, Lupinus cf. sericea; only a few plants locally. Holocene & Pleistocene solifluction debris of andesite & granite.
