In large mesic meadow bounded by open forest of Pinus aristata & Populus tremuloides; w/ mixed diverse meadow spp. incl. Penstemon rydbergia, Oxytropis splendens, O. sericea, Festuca saximontana, Antennaria rosea, A. microphylla, Anemone multifida ssp. globosa, Potentilla pulcherrima X hippiana, Pentaphylloides floribunda; relatively common on forest margin. Holocene & Pleistocene solifluction debris of andesite & granite.
