Habitat:
Very common from 7,000 feet up to at least 9,000 feet. Seems to prefer sunny banks which are rather dry.

Notes:
Lupinus argenteus ssp. argenteus, det. L.L. Phillips, 1954. Varies a good deal in color of flowers and silveriness of foliage.
