Habitat: Gypsum hill (Paradox salt member of Hermosa formation) with Atriplex canescens, Chrysothamnus nauseosus, Eriogonum lonchophyllum.
Reproductive Condition: Flr & Frt
Notes: Note: the five inner petals may bear anthers, as in M. marginata, but the leaf shape and habit are those of cronquistii.-W.A. Weber, 1986.
