Habitat: Roadside in spruce forest just above Echo Lake. In gravelly soil beneath sheltering saplings of spruce.
Reproductive Condition: Spore
Notes: This season the plants are very numerous and unusually well-developed, the sporophores large and branched from near the base of the principal axis.
