Description: Local, occasional, this plant 1/2 m wide x 1/4 m high, 2 pads high, producing both pink and yellow flowers on same plant, 10 am: yellow flowers 80(l) x 87(w) mm, 71x88 mm, 74x90 mm, 77x90 mm, inner tepal 44x23 mm, clawed, flabelliform, tepals delicate, erose with aristate tip, hypanthium (hyp) 38x14 mm, narrowed towards base, spiny, moderately tuberculate, outer tepals light yellow with light olive green midstripe, inner tepals light yellow, filaments light chartreuse becoming whitish distal 1/3, anthers cream, style white, stigma lobes dark green; rose flowers 60x78 mm, 55x64 mm, inner tepal 30x30 mm, flabellate, not aristate, hyp 26x16 mm, narrowed towards base, spiny, moderately tuberculate, outer tepals light olive green narrow midstripe, rose broad margins, inner tepals glossy rose, filaments dark rose, anthers light yellow-cream, style white lightly flushed with pink, stigma lobes green; additional flowers 6 June 2016 11:45 am: 83x75 mm, inner tepal 43x23 mm, broadly oblanceolate, hyp 37x17 mm, outer perianth light green-chartreuse midstripe, darker apices, inner tepals light yellow, fragile, apiculate, filaments cream-white becoming light yellow-cream distal 1/2-1/3, anthers light cream, style white, stigma lobes green.
