Mirasol Creek Quadrangle. Elev. 320 - 330 ft.

Habitat: Rare in broad, occasionally shredded sendero cut through medium- to tall-stature thornscrub on shallow fine sandy loam on very gently undulating upland underlain by calcareous sandstone of the Frio Formation. Associates include Abutilon incanum, Allowissadula sp., Ambrosia confertiflora, Aphanostephus ramosissimus, Argemone aenea, A. sanguinea, Aristida spp., Asclepias oenotheroides, Bouteloua trifida, Chamaesaracha coniodes, Chenopodium berlandieri, Chloris cucullata, Colubrina texensis, Convolvulus equitans, Croton dioicus, C. lindheimerianus, Daucus pusillus, Descurainia pinnata, Gaillardia pulchella, Galium proliferum, Lappula echinata, Lepidium sp., Lesquerella lasiocarpa, Nama hispidum, Nyctaginea capitata, Palafoxia texana, Panicum hallii, Parietaria pensylvanica, Parthenium sp., Setaria sp., Silene antirrhina, Simsia calva, Sporobolus cryptandrus, Verbena canescens.
