Locality: United States, TEXAS, Taylor, 500ft. W of hospital parking lot, ca. 1.2 airmiles SSW of center of B.R. 80/84 and St. Rt. 312 interchange. Dyess Air Force Base.
Habitat: In well drained, neutral, fine sandy loam (Hanby Series, Udic Paleustalfs) over Permian sediments, disturbed graded roadbed through mesquite woodland. Associates include Bouteloua rigidiseta, Buchloe dactyloides, Aphanostephus ramosissimus, Lappula texana, Plantago patagonica var. spinulosa, Ammoselinum popei, Teucrium laciniatum, Hedyotis nigricans, Heterotheca canescens, Berlanadiera lyrata, Cirsium undulatum, Daucus pusillus, Eragrostis secundiflora, Linaria canadensis. Frequent.
Reproductive Condition: flowering + fruiting=mid
