Habitat:
South Texas erect branched annual herb. Basal leaves soon deciduous. In waste ground, open fields. Soil sandy; flowers terminal, white. Leaves oblanceolate, pinnatifid, stem leaves narrow. Fruit pod suborbicular. Bark green, roots fibrous. Frequent. The plant has a strong pepper odor.
