Habitat: Resaca. Habit erect herb in tufts; habitat wet grounds or swamps; annual; perennial roots; soil clay mud; flowers terminal spikes; color brown; month Oct-Nov.; roots creeping. Abundant, in large colonies. The plant blooms in winter and Spring. From October to May.
Reproductive Condition: flowering + fruiting=mid
