Habitat: Relatively rare in moist silty alluvial soil along mostly unshaded bank of Town Lake (Colorado River). More common elsewhere on shoreline of Town Lake. Associates include Colocasia sp., Carex emoryi, Iris pseudacorus, Cicuta maculata, Zizaniopsis miliacea, Galium tinctorium, Cyperus ochraceus, Eleocharis montividensis, Hydrocotyle sp., Physostegia intermedia.
Reproductive Condition: flowering + fruiting=mid
