Locality: United States, Texas, CAMERON, Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge, ca. 1/4 mile N of North Point Recreation Area, near Laguna Madre. Elev. 8 ft.
Habitat: Silt dune, at base of low ridge at road level. Gray silt, very hard. Herbaceous complex. Annual and perennial herb, 1 - 2.5 cm. Forms mat flat on ground, radiating from tap root. White bracts with pink and green glands.
Reproductive Condition: flowering=early
