Habitat: An erect sparingly branched herb. Habitat: open grounds, roadsides. Annual. Soil: clay-loam. Flowers in terminal panicles of spikes. Color: greenish. Leaves: alternate or clustered, petiolate, linear. Only a few plants seen, but probably common throughout N. Hidalgo Co.
Reproductive Condition: flowering + fruiting=mid
