Locality: United States, Texas, JEFF DAVIS, Somewhere along main road through Nations Ranch near gate into Boy Scout ranch, probably ca. 0.7 airmiles SSW of summit of Bear Cave Mt. Little Aguja Mountain Quadrangle. Elev. ca. 5800 ft.
Habitat: Stems 2-3 ft. tall; rays white; occasional in grassy openings in Quercus grisea - Pinus cembroides woodland on dry igneous slopes.
Reproductive Condition: flowering=early
