Habitat: Disturbed scrub of Acacia neovernicosa, Viguiera stenoloba, Celtis pallida, Jatropha, Opuntia imbricata, Fouquieria, and Bahia. Erect perennial 40 cm tall. Stems brittle. Ray and disk flts yellow. At roadedge. Uncommon.
Reproductive Condition: flowering=early
