Locality: United States, Texas, Val Verde, Amistad National Recreation Area: Satan Canyon. Sample plot no. 7. Satan Canyon Quad (1:24,000).
Habitat: Gravelly (limestone) alluvium along intermittent creek in former inundation zone; Roosevelt weed-creek indigo sparse shrubland with white boneset, Bermuda grass, King Ranch bluestem, annual spikesedge, and Gulf Coast spikesedge. With Baccharis neglecta, Eupatorium serotinum, Porophyllum scoparium, Acacia minuata, Indigofera lindheimeri, Eleocharis cellulosa, E. geniculata, Cynodon dactylon, and Bothriochloa ischaemum var. songarica. Infrequent prostrate annual. Petaloid appendages dark pink, lacerate. NPS Accession No.: AMIS-00291. NPS Catalog No.: AMIS 41336.
