Habitat: Associates include Quercus grisea, scattered Q. puncens var. vaseyana, Juniperus, Acacia neovernicosa, A. constricta, Yucca torreyi, Nolina tex., Adolphia, Opuntia lindheimeri, O. imbricata, Rhus trilobata, Bouteloua curtipendula, Verbesina, and Muhlenbergia emersleyi. Multi-branched small shrub. Fls white.
Reproductive Condition: flowering=early
