Habitat: Well drained sandy stream terrace or ridge, openings and open woodland of mixed pine (longleaf, loblolly, shortleaf) and upland hardwoods (probably remnant longleaf pine dry savanna). Rays and disks yellow. Local in openings.
Reproductive Condition: flowering + fruiting=mid
