Locality: United States, Texas, UVALDE, Along TX 55, ca. 11.5 mi. S of the crossing of the Nueces R. at Lake Nueces.
Habitat: Dry wash; dry bed of creek and adjacent floodplain area dominated byLive Oak; quaternary alluvium; rocky, gravelly alluvium; Juglans microcarpa, Euphorbia dentata, Tragia ramosa, T. amblyodonta, Mimosa biuncifera, Quercus fusiformis. Common on stream terrace in understory of Live Oaks in duff, stems somewhat lax, growing near Tragia leptophylla and F. amblyodonta.
Reproductive Condition: flowering + fruting=mid
