Description: Common erect-spreading annual to 40 cm tall. Glands and appendages very small. Cyathia tiny, 2 mm long and 1 mm accross. Stigmas with six branches, yellow. Fruit strongly 3-angled, green with reddish highlights above. Leaves linear, to 1.5 cm long, red-margined, minutely serrate. Stems light green with reddish highlights, nodes slightly swollen.
