Locality: United States, California, Los Angeles, San Francisquito Canyon: westerly ridge descending from SW/NE-trending ridge which divides S. Fr. Cyn from Dry Canyon; ca 480 m SE of where Drinkwater Canyon joins S. Fr. Canyon. Warm Springs Mountain 7.5' USGS Quadrangle.

Elevation: 634-671 meters
Verbatim Elevation: 2080-2200 feet
Habitat: Grassy, gradual slope subjected to type conversion; Chaparral present at west margin of disturbed grassland.
Associated Species: Gilia angelensis; Bromus hordeaceus; B. diandrus; Chlorogalum pomeridianum; Lupinus agardhianus; Pterostegia drymarioides; Clarkia epilobiodes; Erigonum fasciculatum; Avena sp.
Description: Inconspicuous, gracile annual, localized on ridgetop generally found near the bases of E. fasciculatum where competition from weedy bromes was lessened by the depauperate nature of the shaded grasses.
