Chile, Valparaiso, About 1-2 km north of Algarrobo beach which is located about 33 km north of San Antonio.

Habitat:
Dunes and hillsides between two streams. Very disturbed shrublands, Baccharis linares and B. concava apparently hybridizing here.
Description:
Shrub 1 m high along stream, flowers white.
Notes:
Collected for the University of Michigan Herbarium by Leslie R. Landrum and Sonia S. Landrum with the support of the National Science Foundation.
