Habitat: Base of Sierra Las Pintas on low desert flats along washes. Vegetation of Prosopis, Fouquieria splendens, Cercidium microphyllum.
Description: Shrub, about 1.2 m high, yellow flowers in umbels, stems green, terete, leafless; fruit a follicle 10-15cm long, dehiscent. Growing in dry, rocky soil along washes, in full sun. PO.
