Locality: Mexico, Baja California, Road to San Pedro Martir - Agua Caliente, 0.2 miles N of Jctn. Rte 5 (Two Arch Circle at San Felipe), then 11.7 miles west. Sandy flat area, slight upgrade, on broad arroyo of intermt. Valley outwash bajada.

Description: Shurbs about 3-4 ft. tall, pseudo-ribbed; sterile fruit dry, bur-like; fertile fruits large, with large seeds. 15 plants observed.
