Standing water in grassy depression along road and elongated pool on both sides of road. In grassland with some Acacia.
Marsilea plants rooted in mud, leaves floating on water surface. Most sporocarps found on mud at edge of water. Apparently sporocarps float to water`s edge, and become stranded on mud as water level drops. Sporocarps free from plants. At time of collection, several weeks remain before onset of rainy season.
