Habitat: Standing water in grassy depression along road and elongated pool on both sides of road. In grassland with some Acacia.
Description: Marsilea plants rooted in mud, leaves floating on water surface. Most sporocarps found on mud at edge of water. Apparently sporocarps float to water`s edge, and become stranded on mud as water level drops. Sporocarps free from plants. At time of collection, several weeks remain before onset of rainy season.
